Cancer Registrars Week

NCRW 2013

Cancer registrars throughout the world will join their colleagues, fellow medical professionals, and community leaders to observe the 17th annual National Cancer Registrars Week (NCRW) April 8-12, 2013. The purpose of NCRW is to emphasize the important role cancer registrars play in capturing the data that informs cancer research, prevention, and treatment programs.

A special NCRW packet will be mailed in early March to all NCRA members. It will contain the NCRW 2013 poster, press release, and a special gift to commemorate the week.

If there is someone in your office whom you would like to receive a copy of the poster and press release directly — your supervisor, department head, hospital administrator, or public relations office — complete the online form. NCRA will not share the contact information with other organizations, and NCRA will not mention your name in the communication.

In the meantime, get started on planning your celebrations:

  • NCRW Press Release:  Download and share with your employer's public relations department and your local newspaper.

  • NCRW Logo and Banner: Download the official NCRW logo or banner to create your own promotional materials.

  • NCRW E-mail Signature Text: Place in your e-mail signature to promote NCRW in all your e-mail correspondence.
