FAQs
Certificate of Attendance
NCRA is aware of issues with the virtual conference portal’s CE certificate system. To address, we are going “old school” and using our tried-and-true, in-person method. Please download the Certificate of Attendance. Complete and save it. No further documentation of proof-of-attendance is needed. If your CE submission is audited, use this form as supporting documentation.
Technical Requirements
For a smooth log-in process and virtual conference experience, ensure you have reviewed and implemented these technical requirements.
All attendees will be muted on the platform. You will be able to access the “Chat” box for casual communications with other attendees and staff and the “Q&A” area to ask questions of the speakers, which will be answered following the presentations. A facilitator is assigned to each session to manage the live Q&A segment of the session.
Platform and Access
Is a camera required? No. Presenters, facilitators, and moderators are the only attendees that you will see during NCRA’s virtual annual conference.
How do I log-in to NCRA’s Virtual Annual Conference? EventKaddy will e-mail log-in credentials to you on Friday, September 18. If you cannot find the EventKaddy e-mail, check your spam. Do I have to be on a laptop or desktop computer to participate? Can I be on a mobile device? You can access the virtual platform via a laptop, desktop computer, or mobile device. NOTE: If you are using a phone or tablet, the “Chat” box will not be available but the Q&A feature will. A desktop computer will provide the best experience.
When should I log-in? Log-in 5 to 10 minutes prior to the start of the day to ensure there are no technical issues.
If you are experiencing any of the following issues, they are likely related to your personal system:
What if I want to attend only a few sessions? Can I log-in and log-off throughout the day with the same log-in credentials? You will be asked to log-in each time you return to the site. Your browser may have the option of saving the account information and allowing you to remain logged in throughout the day.
How do I access copies of the PowerPoint presentations? PDFs of speaker PowerPoint presentations can be found on the conference portal under the “Files” tab for each session.
How do I claim CE credits and print my certificate of attendance?
Registrants will track their CEs by attending the session and clicking “Check In for CE”.
Once the conference is over on Wednesday, go to the “My CE” tab on the session schedule page to review all the sessions for which you tracked CEs to confirm the sessions listed are correct. Then click the “Email CE” certificate button and, when prompted, enter in your email address. Once you click “okay”, your certificate(s) will be sent to your e-mail address. Remember to download and save the Certificate of Attendance for proof of attendance. Attendees can earn a total of 24.5 CEs by watching all live and on-demand sessions. There are 8.25 Category A CE credits.
When will post conference session recordings be available for viewing and how do I access them? Post-conference session recordings will be available one week after the conference closes. You will use the same log-in credentials from the live conference. Attendees will have access to the on-demand, post-conference sessions through December 31, 2020
Connecting to Other Attendees
How do I connect with other attendees and colleagues during the conference? You will be able to connect with other attendees and colleagues using the “Chat” box available during each session. If you are using a phone or tablet, the “Chat” box is not available. There will also be a roster of attendees available on the conference portal site.
How do I participate in roundtables? Roundtable events will be offered through Zoom and GotoMeeting platforms outside of the conference portal. Each roundtable has a posted link in the conference portal schedule. Click on the Zoom or GotoMeeting link or copy-and-paste the link into your browser. To manage the experience, attendance is limited. If you try to enter a roundtable and it is full, please note that the roundtables are being recorded and will be available following the conference.
