Please keep your credentials safe and accessible throughout this period. CEs must be claimed on the portal by January 15, 2024.

Q: What if I want to view only a few sessions each day? Can I log-in and log-off with the same log-in credentials? A: Yes. You will be asked to log-in each time you return to the site. Your browser may have the option of saving the account information and allowing you to remain logged in throughout the day.
Q: Are PowerPoint slides and handouts available for the sessions? A: Yes. Slides and/or handouts supplied by presenters will be available for download on the Portal within each session’s pop-up page. Look for the “Handouts” or “Slides” buttons to access this information. If no slides or handouts are available for a session, the presenter did not provide them, or if you do not see a slide for a certain presenter, they may be combined with their co-presenter.
Q: How do I claim CEs and access my certificate of attendance? A: Attendees will be able to claim credit for live and recorded sessions by clicking on the “Claim CEs” tile in the Workshop Portal (also available in the left navigation menu). Once there, attendees will click on “Claim Credit” and then select the sessions they attended. The deadline to claim your CEs from the 2023 SEER Advanced Topics for Registry Professionals workshop is January 15, 2024.
Workshop participants are asked to complete the exercises on or before November 10, 2023. Click here for instructions and link to SEER*Educate.
Participants are asked to complete coding exercises for Brain (site/history/behavior), Other Sites (site/history/behavior) and LAMN/HAMN (EOD/Summary Stage/SSDI) in SEER*Educate in order to assist Carolyn Callaghan, one of the workshop speakers, in preparing her presentations. She plans to highlight the observed challenges associated with interpreting medical transcripts to achieve coding accuracy and consistency when applying rules and guidelines outlined in the manuals.
Go to https://educate.fredhutch.org/LandingPage.aspx, sign in or sign up (its free), select the Training tab, and click on SEER Educational Workshop. By completing the coding of these cases for the workshop, the following number of Category A CEs have been approved. Case must be completed on or before 5/30/2024.
If you have any questions about accessing the exercises or printing the CE listing, please educate@fredhutch.org.
