The Educational Achievement Award honors outstanding NCRA members or a group of members who have made significant contributions to cancer registry education at the national level.

CRITERIA

Candidates must be an active NCRA member with the ODS credential. Candidates must have made outstanding contributions to cancer registry education. Contributions can include:

  • Exceptional service to the educational process (NCRA and/or other).
  • Development of curricula or training programs.
  • Published materials.
  • Development of audio or visual educational resources.
  • Clinical practice supervision for health information management or cancer registry students.
  • Research.
